University Partners is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing, marketing, and resident relations with a focus on outstanding customer service and occupancy goals. You will conduct tours, review applications, and maintain lease files while ensuring Fair Housing compliance at all times.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, basic math ability for rent calculations, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced leasing office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in leasing, sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills helpful for resident relations.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, guests, and vendors.
• Lease apartments in alignment with occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow Fair Housing standards in all interactions.
• Conduct tours and present community features and amenities.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts.
• Review applications including income, credit, and background screening.
• Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.
• Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.
• Support lease renewal and retention efforts.
• Track leads, guest cards, and follow-ups in property management systems.
• Respond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timely.
• Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.
• Support move-in processes including documentation and system setup.
• Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessions.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies.
• Ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.
