RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections, and promote resident satisfaction. The position requires on-site work with a flexible schedule including weekends. Training and upward mobility are available through career education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year in customer service or apartment leasing preferred.
• Background in accounting with customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications including credit checks and rental history; coordinate with Community Manager.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-ins, and obtain signatures on paperwork.
• Manage renewals, notices, move-outs, and data in property management software.
• Handle rental collections, enforce lease terms, and pursue evictions when needed.
• Respond to complaints promptly and maintain resident satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct market research and assist in social media presence for the property.
• Complete paperwork for lease, move-in, move-out, and peak periods.
