Job summary

The Assistant Community Manager role at RPM Living oversees front-desk interactions, applications, leases, renewals, and rent collection, ensuring resident satisfaction and property visibility. You will greet prospects, process applications, and guide tenants through move-ins while upholding Fair Housing standards.

You will manage renewals and evictions when needed, track fees, and maintain property software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; accounting background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards and assist with applications.
• Process applications, credit checks, and renewals; maintain reports.
• Show apartments and close sales; prepare move-ins and sign paperwork.
• Manage lease renewals and notices; update property software.
• Handle rental collections and evictions when necessary.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and service requests to maintain satisfaction.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct market research and update Radix or equivalent systems.
• Complete all paperwork for leases, move-ins, check-outs, and peak periods.
