Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to welcome prospects, process applications, and manage leases and renewals on-site. The role involves handling rent collections, evictions, and promoting resident satisfaction through effective communication and social media.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service or leasing experience, with accounting background a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Background in accounting combined with customer service is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management knowledge requested.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects using lead management software and assist with applications and deposits.
• Process applications, credit checks and rental history verification, and seek approval from the Community Manager.
• Show apartments, close sales, and prepare move-ins with signatures and orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, move-outs, and update property management software.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, and handle evictions when needed for financial compliance.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and resolve service issues to promote satisfaction.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court proceedings when required.
• Conduct market research and update Radix or equivalents; support outreach marketing.
• Maintain an active social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement.
