Job summary

Camden Property Trust in Tampa is seeking a Leasing Consultant who greets potential residents, conducts tours and closes leases to ensure a positive first impression. You will coordinate move-ins and maintain high service standards across the community.

The role emphasizes hospitality, sales targets, and collaboration with a team to drive occupancy and retention. Weekend availability may be required to support community needs.

Qualifications

• One year of sales, hospitality and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and lease documentation.
• Showcase community features aligned with customer needs.
• Maintain focus on renewals and occupancy goals throughout the year.
• Utilize marketing strategies and social media to increase traffic.
• Follow up with potential and current residents to support retention.
• Handle occasionally unpredictable situations with sound judgment.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the community and competitors.
• Provide courteous, timely responses to resident needs and concerns.
• Prepare lease documents, resident files and related paperwork with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the team to plan resident events.
• Support other projects and activities as needed.
