Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing activity, market the community, and deliver exceptional resident relations in Louisville. You will conduct tours, present amenities, and coordinate with marketing for outreach while ensuring adherence to policies and Fair Housing standards.

You will review applications, prepare lease files, and support move-in and renewal processes, maintaining strong communication with residents and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments to meet occupancy and revenue goals.

• Conduct tours and highlight community features and amenities.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts.
• Review applications including income, credit, and background checks.
• Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.
• Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.
• Support lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Track leads and follow-ups in property management systems.
• Respond to calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.
• Support move-in processes and system setup.
• Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenities presentation.
• Stay informed about market competitors, pricing, and concessions.
• Know lease terms, unit specs, availability, and community policies.
• Explain required application information and screening processes.
