Job summary

J Street Property Services is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first point of contact for prospective residents and to contribute to a welcoming on-site experience. You will drive leasing activity, respond to inquiries, and guide applicants through the leasing process while maintaining high-quality resident interactions.

As part of the onsite team, you will coordinate move-ins, support retention, and participate in community events.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• 1–2 years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred; multifamily housing experience is strongly desired.
• Proficiency with property-management software (Yardi, OneSite, CRM) is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work weekends and non-traditional hours as required by the community.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, residents, and guests with professionalism and hospitality.
• Build relationships with prospective residents and guide them through the leasing experience.
• Conduct tours linking features, amenities, and lifestyle to each prospect’s needs.
