The role emphasizes greeting prospects, preparing move-in packages, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records in Yardi. Strong communication in English is essential; Spanish bilingualism is a plus, with potential Fair Housing obligations and a focus on community teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Operate Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook, and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc.)
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports; file guest cards.
• Inspect models and available units; communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update the availability report and process applications for approval (credit check, rental history, etc.).
• Submit processed applications to the Community Manager for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute and follow up on renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file intel on market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Type lease, complete paperwork, input data into Yardi on time; review before signatures.
• Assist the management team with other tasks as required.
• Consistently implement community policies.
