Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Dallas to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy with a strong customer service orientation. You will greet visitors, prepare lease materials, process applications, and maintain accurate records in the Yardi system.

You will interact with prospects and residents, coordinate with the Community Manager, and support renewals while upholding Fair Housing standards and company policies. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public or in sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with MS Word/Outlook and property software (Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify visitors using questions and guest cards.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units and coordinate repairs.
• Process applications, deposits, and credit/rental history checks.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Track advertising effectiveness and report market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Handle rental payments and input lease data in the Yardi system.
• Collaborate with Community Manager and management team on tasks.
