Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents.

Key duties include greeting prospects, handling lease paperwork, applications, deposits, and maintaining records in the Yardi system. Strong English communication and a willingness to obtain Fair Housing certification are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and manage guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; report needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approval.
