Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in daily operations at the property. The role emphasizes accurate rent reporting, deposits, and adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, and related laws.

The candidate will update rents and notices, support marketing efforts, and maintain on-site accounting. Experience with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 is required, along with basic computer skills and a strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience is required.
• 1 year of experience in property management is required.
• 1 year of experience with Yardi or Yardi Voyager is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing activities, show property to prospective residents, and participate in outside marketing when needed.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports including rents, deposits, and other monies.
• Verify that monies received match lease agreements and issue notices for late payments or evictions as appropriate.
• Inspect property on site, report maintenance needs, and coordinate with staff for timely repairs.
• Maintain on-site accounting entries for leases, move-ins/outs, traffic, and demographics.
• Prepare lease paperwork, process move-ins/move-outs, and handle service requests from residents.
