Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations and reporting. The role includes leasing support, resident communications, and coordinating with maintenance to ensure a well-managed property.

Responsibilities include preparing rents and deposits, processing notices, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 experience and at least one year in property management, with Yardi

Qualifications

• 2 years of LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience (required).
• 1-year experience in property management (required).
• 1-year experience with Yardi or Yardi Voyager (preferred).
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Computer skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Gmail.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment.
• Performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
• Works as part of a team and completes assignments independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager and, in the Manager's absence, assume responsibilities to meet property objectives.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports including rents, deposits, and other monies.
• Update on-site accounting system for leases, notices, move-ins/outs, traffic, and demographics.
• Process notices to vacate and work to renew leases.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate with maintenance for service requests.
• Assist with leasing activities: greet prospects, show the community, and support marketing efforts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and related regulations.
