Job summary

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features.
• Apply sales skills to generate leads, conduct sales presentations, qualify prospects, and close.
• Proficient in word processing, property management software and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated mathematical skills for budgets and reporting.
• Proficient in using the internet for marketing, advertising and research.

Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, credit checks, prepare lease and move-in package, and ensure smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate any outstanding items with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Monitor market conditions and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue, following policies on concessions and programs.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and internet marketing, and follow community plans and programs.
• Use property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to track availability, leasing activity, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet quality standards through daily inspections and coordination with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease or renewal decisions.
• Support lease renewal processes by preparing renewal letters and coordinating renewals.
