Job summary

Vest Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Chesapeake community. You will conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move-in and renewals process.

You will monitor market conditions, execute marketing plans, and use on-site software to track availability and leasing activity, while maintaining show units and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing apartments and coordinating tours.
• Ability to greet prospects, qualify leads, and process applications.
• Familiarity with market research and occupancy goals.
• Proficient with property management software such as Yardi/OneSite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and prepare leases.
• Inspect apartments pre-move-in and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Monitor market conditions and implement marketing and renewal plans.
• Create traffic via on-site and internet marketing and referrals.
• Track availability and leasing activities in software, manage data.
• Prepare renewal letters and packages; engage renewing residents.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and document requests.
• Support lease renewals and ensure timely execution of documents.
• Coordinate with maintenance and ensure show units meet standards.
• Maintain compliance with policies and provide reports as needed.
