Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for occupancy and revenue goals. The role involves greeting prospects, tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease paperwork for smooth move‑ins.

The position requires staying informed about market conditions, implementing short- and long‑term marketing plans, and maintaining show units to company standards. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications and background checks, prepare lease packages and ensure smooth move‑in.
• Inspect apartments prior to move‑in and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow policies on concessions and programs.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the community using various channels.
• Use on-site property management software to track availability and lease activity.
• Ensure show units meet company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease decisions.
• Support lease renewal by preparing renewal letters and coordinating with renewing residents.
• Respond to resident and owner concerns promptly and escalate as needed.
