Job summary

Greystar, a leading real estate platform, is seeking a Property Leasing Specialist in Houston to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You will guide prospects through tours, process applications, and manage lease signings to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

You will also oversee showroom readiness, coordinate with maintenance, and implement local marketing plans to drive traffic to the community. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licenses and certifications required by state/local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run credit/background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate maintenance if needed to ensure move-in readiness.
• Monitor market conditions and competitors; develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.) and support referral/outreach programs.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, activity, data, and demographics.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridors and coordinating upkeep with maintenance.
• Follow up with prospects and renewals to secure leases and renewals.
• Support lease renewal processes by preparing renewal letters/packages and contacting renewing residents.
• Respond promptly to resident/owner concerns and document/communicate requests.
