Valiant Residential in Austin, TX is seeking a Leasing Manager to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy while ensuring resident satisfaction. You will greet prospects, prepare lease paperwork, record visits, and coordinate applications.

The role requires in-person engagement, flexible hours, and strong communication. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service, Fair Housing certification (or willingness to obtain), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi.

Qualifications

• Experience with the public or sales and strong communication skills.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and questions.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Property Manager.
• Have prospects complete applications and secure deposits per procedures.
• Update availability and process applications for approvals.
• Monitor renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and route to the Accounting/Manager.
• Input lease data into the Yardi System accurately.
• Assist management with other tasks and enforce community policies.
