Job summary

Valiant Residential in Texas is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while delivering exceptional customer service. You will engage visitors, qualify prospects, prepare move-in documents, and manage daily reports in a fast-paced community.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry in the Yardi system, coordination with the Community Manager, and maintaining compliance with Fair Housing requirements. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering criteria and questions.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approval.
• Assist in renewal monitoring and notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept and forward rental payments to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Input data into Yardi accurately, review with Community Manager for signatures.
• Support management with other tasks and enforce community policies.
