Job summary

Valiant Residential in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy through outstanding customer service. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and manage lease paperwork while delivering a positive resident experience.

This role requires strong English communication, the ability to work evenings/weekends, and familiarity with Yardi and MS Office. Fair Housing certification is preferred or obtainable, with competitive compensation,

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to operate PC and Yardi; basic MS Office.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Two years in customer service.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify them using criteria and guest cards.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications, deposits, and verify credit/rental history.
• Update availability reports and submit applications for approval.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and research market competition.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Accept rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into Yardi accurately and obtain signatures.
• Assist management with other tasks and implement policies.
