Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while delivering outstanding customer service. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and manage applications with accuracy.

This role requires strong English communication, a willingness to obtain Fair Housing certification, and experience in customer service. You will record visits, maintain guest files, monitor renewals, and input data into the Yardi system.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Office and community software (e.g., Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and questions.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards and reports.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; flag service needs.
• Process applications, credit checks, and renewals with the Community Manager.
• Represent the company professionally and collect rental payments.
• Enter lease data into the Yardi system and ensure signatures.
