Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to oversee leasing, retention and occupancy for the community, delivering outstanding customer service to visitors, prospects and residents. You will promote resident satisfaction and maintain accurate records in Yardi, while supporting the team and enforcing policies.

Responsibilities include greeting prospects, preparing move-in packages, processing applications and deposits, and monitoring renewals.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interaction with prospective residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits in accordance with procedures and Fair Housing.
• Update the availability report and process applications for approval (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Handle rental payments and input information into Yardi on time.
• Assist the management team with additional tasks and enforce community policies.
