Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Leasing Consultant to serve as the primary contact for prospective residents, guiding tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move-ins. You will coordinate marketing efforts and renewal strategies to hit occupancy and revenue targets while delivering excellent resident service at our Midlothian properties.

Role requires strong organizational and customer service skills, knowledge of MS Office, and familiarity with Yardi.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Leasing experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and customer service mindset required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Yardi knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; conduct community tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, run credits and background checks; prepare move-in packets.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready; schedule repairs with maintenance as needed.
• Stay informed about market conditions affecting occupancy and sales results.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
• Use Yardi or on-site software to track availability and lease activity.
