Job summary

Capital Square Living in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the primary contact for prospective residents. You will conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, and coordinate move-in activities to drive occupancy and revenue across our communities.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, customer service focus, and basic MS Office and Yardi knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Experience with property management software, preferably Yardi.
• Basic MS Office skills and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, credit checks, and background screening.
• Prepare move-in packages and coordinate lease signing.
• Inspect apartments and coordinate maintenance for move-in readiness.
• Monitor market conditions and support marketing to sustain occupancy.
• Utilize on-site software to track availability, traffic and data.
