Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager who will work closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth operation of the property. You will assist with leasing, marketing, resident relations, and maintaining financial records, while stepping in for the Community Manager when needed.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Prior apartment management experience is preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of college preferred; relevant coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials and show units; screen applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels for comparable units; process applications and leases.
• Greet prospects, qualify, and collect deposits following company policies and Fair Housing rules.
• Process and review applications, credit checks, rental history; update availability reports.
• Handle rent collection, notices, renewals, and coordinate with the Community Manager.
