Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager who works closely with the Community Manager to ensure the smooth running and operation of the property and assists with the community's leasing, marketing, and resident relations.

You will maintain records, process applications, greet prospects, manage renewals, and input data into Yardi while upholding Fair Housing practices and company policies.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Apartment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
