Cardinal Group Companies in Corvallis, OR seeks a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt). The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, supporting residents, and driving occupancy through leasing current and future availability.

You will handle front desk duties, participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, complete lease paperwork, and assist with community events while maintaining a professional, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a degree program with minimum 6 credits.
• Has completed at least one year in the current program.
• Maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA; annual verification.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Lives on designated community floor as assigned.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Available to work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and exceed guest expectations.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Interact with prospects: greet, qualify needs, present the community.
• Use feature/benefit selling and close the lease.
• Complete all lease applications and paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and obtain CWoL certification.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Keep tour path clean for positive first impressions.
• Demonstrate a professional attitude with guests, residents, vendors.
• Assist with community events and other projects as assigned.
• Attend Cardinal U training as required.
• "On-call" responsibilities; work evenings and weekends.
