Job summary

Capstone Management Partners seeks a Leasing Community Intern to support leasing activities and deliver high-quality customer service to residents and prospects. The role emphasizes teamwork, occupancy goals, and pre-leasing future availability.

You will work on-site, assist with front desk tasks, and participate in training programs while requiring availability evenings and weekends. This temporary position offers growth and exposure to property management operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA; GPA verified annually.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of a community.
• Must live on designated community floor per guidelines.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Available to work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and satisfy Cardinal customers.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Warmly greet prospective clients and answer leasing calls.
• Present the community and apartment homes professionally.
• Close the lease and follow up with prospects.
• Complete all lease applications and paperwork.
• Maintain lease file documentation and assist audits.
• Maintain cleanliness of tour paths for a positive first impression.
• Assist with planning community events and other projects.
• Participate in Cardinal U training; on-call responsibilities including nights/weekends.
