Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospective residents, process applications, manage leases and renewals, and promote resident satisfaction on-site in Chicago.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service or leasing, with a high school diploma or GED; familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic project management is a plus. Expect a dynamic schedule including weekends and a strong emphasis on community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Background in accounting with customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general project management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify them using lead management tools; assist with applications and deposits.
• Process applications, including credit checks and rental history verification, and seek Community Manager approval.
• Show apartments, close sales, complete move-in paperwork and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, move-outs, and data in PM software.
