Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and boost resident satisfaction through effective communication and social media.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in customer service or apartment leasing; accounting experience is a plus. On-site position with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing. A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software.
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Keep an updated availability report and process applications with credit checks and rental history verification.
• Show apartments; close sales and prepare move-ins with signatures and orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, and move-outs; update property management software.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, and initiate evictions when needed.
• Respond promptly to complaints and requests to protect resident satisfaction and retention.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court representation as needed.
• Conduct market research and support outreach marketing; maintain social media presence.
