Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing. A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, assist with applications and deposits, and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Process applications, run credit checks, verify rental history, submit for Community Manager approval and follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, issue renewal notices, handle move-outs, and update data in property management software.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate evictions when needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly resolving issues and responding to inquiries.
• Conduct market research, implement outreach marketing, and maintain an active social media presence.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for leases, move-ins, check-outs, and other peak periods.
