Job summary

Greystar seeks a leasing consultant to drive property occupancy and revenue through effective marketing, tours, and applicant processing. You will manage lead flow, qualify prospects, and coordinate renewals while delivering exceptional resident experiences and coordinating events that showcase the community.

You will collaborate with on-site teams, maintain show-ready units, and leverage marketing plans to maximize traffic and conversions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet and customer service background.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features.
• Mathematical skills to process sales conversions and know how to close.
• Ability to generate leads, conduct sales presentations, qualify prospects, and close.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours, process applications, and prepare leases.
• Record prospect information and maintain accurate lead data.
• Collaborate with teams to monitor market conditions and adjust occupancy/marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing events to drive traffic and referrals.
• Utilize on-site software to track availability, traffic, and leasing activity.
• Ensure show units meet company standards and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Follow up with prospects and residents within 24 hours to finalize decisions.
• Support lease renewal processes and prepare renewal documents.
• Respond to resident inquiries promptly and document requests.
• Attend community events and outreach programs to generate leads.
