Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Leasing Community Intern in Tempe, AZ. This temporary, non-exempt role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service and supporting leasing efforts to maintain occupancy, pre-lease future availability, and assist with community events.

The Intern will perform front desk duties, participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, greet prospective tenants, present the community, and complete lease paperwork while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed at least one year of college.
• GPA minimum 2.5; annual verification.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder and live on designated community floor.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.
• Available to work approximately 20 hours per week; evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service to ensure satisfaction.
• Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training.
• Greet prospective clients and present the community and homes.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Maintain lease file documentation and assist with audits.
• Assist with planning community events.
• On-call responsibilities including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
