Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a degree program with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA with annual verification.
• Current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Live on the designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Available to be scheduled for work ~20 hours per week, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service to ensure Cardinal residents are satisfied.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required.
• Greet prospective clients, answer calls, determine needs, present the community and homes.
• Utilize feature/benefit selling and close the sale; follow up with leads.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Keep tour path clean to create a positive first impression.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with team, residents, vendors.
• Assist with planning community events and other projects.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
• On-call responsibilities (lock-outs, nightly rounds); work evenings and weekends.
