Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, handle rent collections and evictions, and promote resident satisfaction and property visibility through effective communication and social media.

The role is on-site at a Dallas-area community, requiring a flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, and weekends as needed. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered to support career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Accounting background with customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, assist with applications and deposits, and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Process applications (credit checks and rental history) and submit for Community Manager approval.
• Show apartments, prepare for move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals and move-outs; update property management software with move-in/out data.
• Oversee rental collections and enforce lease terms to protect revenue.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and resolve issues to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Assist in maintaining social media presence and property visibility.
• Complete paperwork for leases, moves, and peak periods promptly.
