Job summary

RPM Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager in Texas to greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, and promote resident satisfaction. You will handle rent collections, evictions, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing rules while maintaining strong property visibility through social media.

The role requires at least one year in customer service or leasing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; assist with applications and deposits; adhere to procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Process applications (including credit checks and rental history verification) and follow up.
• Show apartments and close sales; prepare for move-ins; obtain signatures and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals; send renewal notices; handle move-outs as per lease terms; update software.
• Manage rental collections; enforce lease terms; track fees; initiate eviction when needed for financial compliance.
• Promote resident satisfaction; promptly respond to complaints and requests; resolve service issues.
• Follow eviction procedures and court representation as needed.
• Conduct market research; implement outreach marketing; update Radix or equivalent.
• Assist in maintaining a social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement; complete paperwork for leases and move-ins.
