Job summary

Aaron's is hiring a Customer Accounts Advisor in Texarkana, TX. You will build relationships with customers over the phone and in person to drive payment collections and lease renewals, helping customers move toward ownership.

You will maintain accurate account information in store systems, support the sales team, and aim to meet daily revenue and renewal goals while upholding the Aaron's brand and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Must be US 21+ with valid driver's license and a satisfactory MVR.
• Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states.
• Ability to work hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
• Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy with the ability to multitask in store.
• Proper telephone etiquette.
• Uphold the Aaron's Brand and protect company assets.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounts and update information in the store system.
• Direct contact with customers who have not renewed leases by in-home visits and phone.
• Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
• Assist the Customer Account Manager in meeting daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for items returned.
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
• Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle.
• Safely operate company vehicle.
• Assist the Sales Team as needed.
• Any reasonable duties requested by management.
