Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure vacant apartments meet quality standards for timely re-leasing. You will perform repairs, caulking, painting, and general upkeep to prepare units for market.

The role involves physical work, outdoor conditions, and adherence to safety policies. Responsibilities include completing make-ready checklists, assisting with grounds maintenance, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Ability to perform repairs and make-ready tasks.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartments prior to resident move-in.
• Ensures caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and makes repairs or replacements as needed.
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation on time.
• Follows safety policies and attends safety meetings; completes required training (OSHA).
• Delivers good resident service by answering questions and handling concerns promptly.
