Job summary

Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage lease accounting under ASC 842 and maintain accurate general ledger records. You will prepare analyses, journal entries, and reconciliations while supporting internal/external audits and SOX compliance.

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1+ year of GL experience are required, with ASC 842 experience highly preferred. The role offers opportunities within a collaborative finance team, with benefits and potential for career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with at least 1 year of GL accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares analyses and journal entries for lease accounting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Handles special projects and communicates changes in accounting standards.
