Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and support end-to-end lease accounting processes. You will work with stakeholders across accounting and reporting, preparing analyses and journal entries, and reconciling accounts.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience, with preferred ASC 842 knowledge. This role supports internal and external audits and requires staying current with accounting

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting required with at least 1 year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains lease accounting schedules per ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audits, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects as requested by leadership.
• Keeps up-to-date with FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards and their impact.
