Job summary

Cable One is seeking an accounting professional to maintain lease accounting schedules under ASC 842 and support the end-to-end lease accounting process. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience, with preference for ASC 842 exposure.

You will prepare analyses and journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with internal controls and SOX-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting with 1+ year of general ledger experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules under ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports SOX compliance and audit activities.
• Follows updates to FASB/SEC/PCAOB standards and applies impacts.
• Other duties as needed with accommodations for qualified individuals.
