Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Consultant, Learning Business Partner to diagnose performance gaps and tailor learning solutions. The role blends instructional design, facilitation, and use of digital tools to enable business outcomes and sustain effective performance across programs.

The LBP will partner with program leaders, deliver instructor‑led and digital learning, and evaluate impact. Travel up to 10% may be required, with standard work hours in the Central Time Zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in adult learning design.
• Strong consulting skills.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in instructional design.
• Experience in virtual and in‑person facilitation including Zoom or Teams.
• Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences background preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with tight timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Must work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Act as a learning and performance consultant to assigned programs by diagnosing business needs, clarifying desired outcomes, and recommending appropriate learning or performance solutions.
• Partner with program and operational leaders to influence learning strategy, scope, prioritization, and timing based on business goals and program maturity.
• Exercise professional judgment to challenge assumptions, clarify tradeoffs, and guide decision‑making.
• Navigate ambiguity and evolving program conditions while maintaining focus on outcomes.
• Provide consistent messaging across stakeholders while allowing flexibility in execution.
• Own end‑to‑end planning, design and deployment of learning strategies using instructor‑led training, digital learning, and performance support.
