ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist in the US (Arizona) to build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business transformation and workforce development. You will partner across the organization to design engaging programs, develop materials, and ensure employees gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel.

You will lead initiatives across instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced formats, manage content in the LMS, and measure program impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related.
• 5+ years in learning and development, instructional design, or capability-building.
• Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and PM skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to create training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation that support employee success.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate processes and systems into effective learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
• Establish and manage onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, communications, and learning events across the organization.
• Maintain training content and resources within the LMS.
• Monitor training participation, compliance, and effectiveness using metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
