Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Proven ability to meet project deliverables and company metrics.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Participate in development and execution of strategic plans aligned with the company.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Create a positive work environment that supports communication and team cohesion.
• Maintain supervisory staff through recruiting, orientation, and training.
• Ensure progression path training and certification is executed.
• Mentor leads and associates with competency-based feedback.
• Ensure adequate production capacity and assist with production planning.
• Ensure health and safety and loss prevention guidelines are followed.
• Provide vision and guidance to the team to meet performance metrics.
• Engage the team to improve quality, production, and cost objectives.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
