Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks an experienced operations leader to drive Lean initiatives and optimize plant performance in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will manage schedules, safety, quality, and P&L while leading cross-functional teams and engaging with customers and suppliers.

The role requires 7–10 years in operations with Lean experience and a track record of process development and ISO quality adherence.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles with team leadership.
• Experience in a Lean environment.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing (plastic injection molding and metal processing/forming) strongly preferred.
• Commercial experience with direct customer contact.
• Minimum of 5 years in process development and business process design.
• Experience with ISO or equivalent quality standards.
• Experience implementing or managing an Operating System (e.g., Toyota Production System).

Responsibilities

• Ensures facility produces high quality products efficiently within budgeted costs.
• Leads Lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proactively resolves problems.
• Manages facility P&L and reviews KPIs daily/weekly/monthly.
• Leads strategic planning, cost reduction, capital planning, and resource allocation.
• Oversees safety, quality, scheduling, production, shipping, and maintenance.
• Maintains safe, clean, efficient operations within company and regulations.
• Drives safety culture and conducts weekly safety walks.
• Trains and develops staff; conducts performance reviews.
• Leads weekly staff meetings and plant communication meetings.
• Interfaces with customers and suppliers; visits as needed.
• Represents the company in community relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
