Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance Leadership Manager to oversee maintenance planning, equipment modifications, and capital projects. You will lead a team across maintenance, engineering and process improvement, focus on safety, quality and productivity, and drive KPI improvements and Lean initiatives in a fast-paced packaging operation.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of industrial automation/mechanical experience plus leadership; Six Sigma is a plus; SAP and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management.
5–7 years in Industrial Automation, PLCs, pneumatics & hydraulics, injection molding.
Experience leading maintenance, engineering or process-improvement teams.
Lean environment experience preferred.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge preferred.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced plant setting.

Responsibilities

Oversees, plans and issues work orders for equipment modifications and maintenance.
Coordinates maintenance resources and supports capital and continuous improvement projects.
Reviews equipment performance for safety, quality, cost, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Monitors KPIs and makes recommendations to improve OEE and maintenance problem resolution.
Tracks and improves maintenance KPI performance.
Engages employees in problem resolution using Lean methods.
Fosters a positive environment and drives maintenance team to meet productivity targets.
Ensures regulatory compliance with city, county, state agencies.
Monitors and reviews maintenance budget; assists in annual budgeting.
Assists in recruitment and training of maintenance personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
