Job summary

Essenti Talent’s Freehold, NJ area is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team and champion continuous improvement. You will coach direct and indirect reports, uphold a safety-first culture, and report to site leadership while driving Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Responsibilities include 24/7 operations oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and managing budgets with a focus on cost efficiency and quality. Local candidates preferred; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
Seven years of manufacturing operations management experience.
Experience in FDA-regulated environments.
Experience overseeing 100+ total reports (direct and indirect).
Root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
Experience leading 24/7 operations.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
Budget management experience.
ERP experience.
MS Office proficiency (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, reliability and cost targets.
Designs and deploys continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Leads and coaches supervisors and team leads; oversees hiring, onboarding and qualification programs.
Collaborates with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to meet site objectives.
Oversees budgeting, labor planning and capital investments; advises site leadership.
