Job summary

Your Talent Team in Freehold, NJ seeks an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced site manufacturing floor, drive Lean Six Sigma improvements, and mentor a diverse team of direct and indirect reports across multiple shifts. You will champion safety, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver top-tier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field.
• At least seven years of similar operations manufacturing management experience.
• Experience overseeing production in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or beverage manufacturing environments.
• FDA regulated environments experience.
• Experience leading direct and indirect reports (at least 100 total).
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Experience overseeing 24/7 operations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Budget management experience.
• ERP experience and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, reliability and cost targets.
• Designs and deploys continuous improvement strategy using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Coaches supervisors and leads, overseeing hiring, onboarding and qualification programs.
• Partners with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to eliminate recurring failures.
• Manages departmental budgets, labor planning and operating expenses; advises site leadership on goals.
