Kingfisher Recruiting is partnering with a growing manufacturing site near Freehold, NJ to hire an Operations Manager who will lead a fast-paced production team and champion continuous improvement. The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, safety, and cross-functional collaboration across maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in manufacturing operations, FDA-regulated experience, and a track record of managing 100+ employees; compensation reflects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing operations management experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments (pharma, food, beverage, personal care).
• Root-cause analysis and corrective action experience (CAPA).
• Budget management and ERP experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred (or certificate).

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, reliability, and cost targets.
• Designs and deploys continuous improvement strategies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Leads hiring, onboarding, training, and succession planning for site teams.
• Partners with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics to achieve site objectives.
• Manages budgets and operating expenses; advises site leadership on capital needs.
