Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure division in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Lean initiatives and capital projects. The role focuses on evaluating and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

The engineer will manage multiple projects, support diverse product lines, and contribute to setup and startup of new processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with anticipated May 2027 graduation.
Minimum 3 months internship or co-op in engineering/manufacturing.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and Value Stream Mapping across operations.
Evaluate current and future state processes; emphasize safety and repeatability.
Recommend changes to improve productivity and lean flow; document work instructions.
Initiate and manage capital improvement projects including equipment and facilities.
Drive continuous improvement on the shop floor and cost reduction.
Manage multiple projects on schedule and support multiple product lines.
Drive NPI activities in assigned work cells; perform other duties as assigned.
