Job summary

Eaton's Critical Power Solutions division in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean, Six Sigma, and EBS-based improvements across CTO product lines. You will lead cross-functional projects, mentor teams, and leverage IIoT, dashboards, and analytics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will build and sustain performance metrics, support digital manufacturing initiatives, and ensure projects align with MESH and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma incl. VSM, Standardized Work, Kaizen, 5S, and Material Flow.
• Experience leading CI initiatives that deliver measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, or cost.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and data-driven decision making.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Eaton will not consider applicants outside the 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI culture, coaching, and deployment of Lean/EBS principles.
• Coach change management to sustain process improvements and Lean culture.
• Provide CI training and mentoring at all levels.
• Lead CI governance activities like CI Council, RIEs, and OpA assessments.
• Ensure CI aligns with MESH requirements and safety objectives.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and Rapid Improvement Events.
• Develop and sustain dashboards and KPI reporting with SQL/Power BI.
